The pack can carry a snowboard or skis on the back harness, plus there are pocket designed for snow probes or a shovel. The Muse is great to use in the summer, but it was designed to handle the winter as well. Among the kinder, gentler features of the Muse are a fleece-lined pocket easily accessed at the top for goggles or binoculars and another perfect for an MP3 player. All pockets, including the main cargo-compartment, are designed with easy grip toggle zippers for ready access without the need to remove your gloves.  Access is through a pocket in the back is where you put the bladder. It can hold a neoprene insulated hose (to resist freezing in the winter) and runs through the right shoulder strap. In addition, the harness features a specially designed pocket that fits a hand warmer, keeping water from freezing ALL DAY on the slopes. This CamelBak is used. It does have a few tiny areas that show use or small stains. This pack does NOT come with a hydration bladder. It is an extremely well-made pack. It will not disappoint any outdoor enthusiast.
